Abstract


In this paper, a method of combining theoretical analysis and empirical research, a focus on the processing trade impact on the industry income levels in China, the income gap between industries. This paper analyzes the development of China's processing trade and industry income distribution overview features later empirical studies find theoretical support. About the mechanism of processing trade impact on the industry income distribution in China, the paper analyzes the processing trade industry income levels in China, the income gap between industries. This article is based on 30 industry segments in China's manufacturing data from 2005 to 2008, using the the Eviews panel data model, the impact on the income level of processing trade exports and our industry, exports of processing trade, the difference between the income gap between our industry the empirical analysis, the final results show that the industry exports of processing trade, industry, labor productivity, the contribution rate of the sector's total assets on the industry income levels in China have a significant positive impact, while the degree of monopoly of the industry a significant negative impact on the income levels of the industry ; the industry processing trade export the difference, the difference between the labor productivity of the industry, the industry monopoly degree of difference between the income gap between our industry there is a significant positive impact on our industry income gap, the difference between the contribution rate of the sector's total assets have a negative impact. Carry out extensive activities of processing trade exports exacerbated the income gap between our industry. Meanwhile, there is another income distribution seriously irrational phenomenon, China's processing trade activities found in this study: the low level of ordinary labor income of workers in China's processing trade enterprises, large profits were the owners of capital occupied, that the income gap between the owners of capital factor and labor factor owners is very significant. Based on theoretical analysis and empirical findings of this article, the relevant departments in China in the regulation of domestic income distribution, processing trade as an economic policy or regulation method to combine the different regions and industry specific conditions and resource endowments, the use of processing appropriate regulation to enhance the role of trade on income levels. The same time, China should continue to seize the pace of economic globalization, actively undertake a new round of international industrial transfer, continue to expand the scale of China's processing trade, and with the related adjustment measures to actively promote the transformation and upgrading of processing trade in China.
