Abstract


Workload Manager System (WLMS) aimed to practical teaching management work, used advanced design and development techniques to build up a teachers’ workload of various user-oriented integrated management information system for Jining Polytechnic.The system existed in the original manual of data duplication and wastage of resources, statistical work and no disadvantages, such as the problem in time, improves the efficiency of teachers’workload statistics and analysis.We used the Rational Unified Process as a development tool in this project. Multilayered J2EE-Architecture also is used in the whole system.Finally, the management information system has been implemented including five subsystems named workload management, complaint management issues, internal e-mail management, document management, tool management. And by further subdivided, functional module complete management information system were established.In this paper, discussed the system development background, the current Domestic and foreign research status of Workload Manager System. The System is designed on how to integrate Zheng Fang University Teaching Information Management System, then established the system requirements model, and clarified the main issues to be resolved. During the system design phase, starting from the design, discussed the system design objectives and operational principles of analysis in first, and then established a system architecture.In the database design phase, main discussed the design principles of database, the detailed design of the system, the detailed solution of the system. Finally, analyzed and discussed several system implementation process’s key issues in detail.Now, part of the system has been used successfully by Jining Polytechnic academic department. It has a great effect and makes the workload management more efficient.
