Abstract


Disaster is closely related to human survival event , regardless of which country , what kind of social system , it is difficult to avoid the occurrence of a disaster , therefore , has always been associated with the news reports , the social focus of attention and focus , as well as news spread of class important theme . 21st century , the worldwide disaster occurred frequently , natural and man-made disasters is still placed in humans and in front of the media is a major issue , the risk society villagers aware of the necessity and urgency of possible trouble . However , media reporters how can a good grasp of these reports of a major disaster , to play the good functionality to meet the information needs of the audience , play a role in correctly guide public opinion , so as to achieve the purpose of effective dissemination ? From the point of view of the use of language , the use of the case studies and comparative analysis of research methods will be in both Chinese and English media the disaster reported first-hand information from the language features and structure to make a detailed comparison and analysis of its causes . I expect through comparative analysis , summarizes some of the the British disaster news reports of different stylistic features , the advantages and disadvantages of both stylistic comparison , and learn from each other to achieve the purpose , so that the Chinese disaster reported use of language towards professional orientation and social pragmatism practice the idealized model development , and ultimately of the disaster in China reported on the reporting form and language development and continue to mature and provide some inspiration and reference .
