Abstract


The cold mill plant in stainless business unit of Baosteel group was a new plant built in2006. It included HAPL(hot strip annealing pickling line for stainless)、TCM (tandem continuous mill)、CAL(continuous annealing line)、CGL(caloric galvanizing line)and so on. The overall produce was controlled by computer. The UCS was used complicated by reason of multitudinous line for cold mill strip project. In the interest of strengthen the energy medium administration, the discharge amount of energy consumption and waste water(acid) in respective line was monitored. The UCS system was set up in cold mill plant。This article tell us the UCS system’s monitor content,management target and design requirement. The system analyze the data flow fig and then function summary, design the general frame, it’s topological is three classes net. Firm work equipment include I/O server, application server, engineering station and many other management computer. Fare work include interface management, reality management, consume analyze,reporter management and the system maintenance. The system asked a common middle software and a general protocol include communication protocol telegram format. Through the XCOM the UCS system communicated with the L3control system. The thesis describes the realization about the function. The system developed by the oracle database and develop2000. All the I/O were put into the DCS control cabinets between the UCS and the EMS it is a standard communication interface. This system inspect all kinds of the energy sources for the cold mill then the administrator can know the sources’using situation, so the manager can control the consume of these sources,then put out the reporter and many other data to find out a good method to instructed the production.Since the system put into using, all the source in the cold mill was in a well status. It supplied a scientific method to manage the sources and according to this we can achieved our aim to resume the source cost and the sources’using are reasonable.
