With China’s rapid development of urbanization, municipal engineering resources information system undergoing rapid expansion of the scale, but at present, China’s public works infrastructure, incomplete information, information about better and more comprehensive than the collection, management tools and management level is relatively lagging behind, This is our current municipal engineering resources information system status contradictory. This paper studies the political engineering resources, information systems analysis and design, according to the municipal engineering resources management information system needs routine maintenance updates, combined with GIS system features, design of municipal engineering resources information system with data format conversion, graphics management, data query image information retrieval, database data management, spatial analysis and other special functions to meet the needs of the staff work.
