Abstract


With the escalation of the continuous development of embedded technology and mobile communication technology , a combination of the embedded technology and GPRS mobile communication technology applied to the conditions in the monitoring system of water supply has gradually matured , the subject is the use of the currently popular ARM9 processor and GPRS technology is a combination of wireless remote monitoring system for urban water supply . The system extended wireless communication module for embedded systems , making it the center control platform , capable of receiving and processing the data collected by each remote sensor , while the directives issued by the control center to be sent to the various collection points . In this paper, as the core S3C2410 chip , GPRS as a means of communication RTU ( data acquisition control terminal ) , combined with the upper management platform to build a universal solution for wireless monitoring system based on ARM city water supply system to achieve the basic functions reached urban water supply monitoring system requirements , remote control , real-time monitoring , remote data browsing , statistics, management functions , while the system has good scalability . This paper first introduces the research background , research content , the basic theoretical knowledge and GPRS communication technology and embedded system development made ??presentations given on the basis of overall structural design of embedded remote monitoring system ; followed by a detailed analysis of the embedded Linux operating system , the development of technology , including the establishment of the embedded development environment , Bootloader transplantation , the production of the Linux kernel porting and root file system , the completion of the transplantation of a of MiniGUI graphical user interface using the configuration software in the host computer designed to monitor interface , a the city wireless remote monitoring system as a whole function .
