The dramatic development of the computer, communications and network technology has been exerting tremendous influence on the ways people study, work and live. Internet has been enjoying growing popularity in the educational field for its incredible data storage, diversification, shareability and instant communication. However, from the view of education present situation, the quality of education resources needs to be improved, the integration of the education resources to be strengthened, education informatization obstructs As a new network teaching mode, the subject-based learning website provides a comprehensive knowledge system for students, integrates effectively learning resources and the learning process, promotes the process of education informatization. The aim of the paper is to put the teaching design theory, construvtivism theory, collaborative learning theory, research-oriented learning theory and Project-based Learning into the design and the development of the subject-based learning website. and to make a network platform for the students, in order to promote the innovations of students’learning style, develop good exploring spirit, coopetation ability and information literacy.The article analyses the present situation and the existing problems of the subject-based learning website by using the literature survey method,to draw the significant research point,the inquiry learning the concept,structure, construction and application of the subject-based learning website is according to many books and research papers,and it gives the design principle,the method and process of teaching design,and system structure of the subject-based learning website about the web design and production,and develops the application platform of the subject-based learning website about the web design and production by prototype development method,finally, develops the teaching application effect research by using platform exploring the teaching mode of curriculum of the web design and production based on the subject-based learning website
