Abstract


As data management, information management, knowledge management tools, an important foundation for database management systems, information engineering data management system as needs change, resulting in a database management system and its dominant building technology - Database technology continues to evolve and change. Produced from the 1960s to the present, has experienced from scratch, from a single technology to diversify the evolution from simple to complex process. Development of the database management system to do the logical link with inherent technical phasing - Historical Division, and to explore the evolution of database management systems affect constraints and evolutionary mechanisms and other issues, not only for information engineering and technical personnel, but also for the development of the information society internal mechanism has epistemological and methodological significance. Performance database management system for the storage subsystem evolutionary mechanisms, query optimization subsystem, transaction processing subsystem and other subsystems and subsystems within the transition process between the levels. As a component subsystem internal algorithm and design methods to improve and perfect, leading to other components within the subsystem or subsystem linkage and optimization, eventually leading to the subsystem transitions.
