In twenty-first Century, the global economic integration and market without borders marks the enterprises to enter the era of global competition. With information society and the era of knowledge economy, enterprises are facing the challenges not only from the quality, cost, technology, service and other, but also more pressure from management concept, operation mode, organization structure and business process change. The survival and development of enterprises more and more rely on the organization and business process. Business process is the lifeline of the enterprise. That it is reasonable to the working efficiency of the enterprises play a decisive role, and directly affect the operation condition of enterprise overall.In this paper, H Gas Company as the research object, firstly expounds the concept of business process optimization, the optimization principle and theory, put forward a series of ideas of business process optimization, including the train of thought, patterns, methods and models. Then, according to the business process optimization principle, in order to reduce operation cost, accelerate the capital turnover, establish efficient business processes, improve customer satisfaction, use system thinking mode, the system transformation method to optimize business process of H company gas meter.Through the H Corporation gas meter business process analysis, analyze the existence and reason of the problem, design optimization framework, then the optimization plan, pointed out the key points of optimization, finally, developed an implementation of safeguards of business process optimization scheme, and we evaluated the effect prediction of the implementation of business process optimization.The present paper through the study of the gas meter business process optimization, not only improve and enhance the management level for the company gas meter business, also make the company’s other business management and optimization drawing lessons from it.
