As the role of storage system in the enterprise whole operation increasing, the efficiency of storage system directly influence the development of the enterprise, the enterprise of its own storage system of the reasonable planning is becoming more and more attention. Based on small and medium manufacturing enterprises as the research object, this paper summarizes the storage system is suitable for small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprise planning and the method of computer simulation modeling.Anhui Guangda of photovoltaic products company is a production of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises, with the increase of firm size and market, the traditional storage systems and practices have been unable to meet the needs of the company, the company warehouse operational efficiency of the system is low, especially cannot accurately fast response production workshop of raw materials demand, has directly restricted the company’s production capacity, affect the enterprise’s future development.Based on Guangda company in Anhui as the research carrier, through field investigation of the enterprises understand the storage system and analyses the present situation and existing problems, and aimed at the problems existing in the redesign of planning an enterprise storage system, by using method such as mathematical computing and SLP (system facilities layout) completed the company automated warehouse system, functional area layout and warehousing business process design.If blindness investment storage system construction, however, in the absence of accurate data and simulation technology, under the support of logistics can lead to enterprise in the waste of manpower, material and financial resources, so this article using the Flexsim simulation software to Anhui Guangda company’s actual storage system to build the virtual model by constructing physical model and data model in Flexsim, set up a joint company actual warehouse layout and process simulation model; The virtual model of the simulation run partly restore the real system, the virtual model of the simulation results for the analysis of the actual system provides a scientific guarantee. In addition, running smoothly or not by observing the simulation model and analysis of simulation data report to find out the "bottleneck" of the system, and then change to "bottleneck".Focus on light company warehousing system two major problems, one is chosen in raw materials warehouse for unloading, takes a long time, can’t satisfy the needs of the workshop, affects the production ability; Second, when the finished goods in the warehouse, warehouse system overall efficiency is low, causing the inbound process chaos poorly.In this paper, according to the actual situation of Anhui Guangda company, planning and design the storage system, find the warehouse by Flexsim simulation software system "bottleneck" of the business process and improvement scheme is put forward, and based on the data of operation optimization simulation model results confirmed that the proposed improved package really achieve the goal of the optimization system.
