With the rapid development of global economy, people are paying more and more attention to thesustainable development of green logistics. Green logistics covers the intensive resources, greentransportation, green packaging, reverse logistics and other content. Agricultural logistics focuses onagricultural products. Through the process of processing, packaging, storage, transportation and distribution,agricultural logistics maintains and increases the value of agricultural products and finally pass it toconsumers. In order to reduce environmental pollution and resources consumption, green logistics ofagricultural products integrates the concept of sustainable development into the traditional logisticsoperation and management of agricultural products, plan and implement transportation, storage,packaging, circulation and processing by means of modern logistics technology. Being rich in agriculturalproducts resources, our province is one of the important agricultural production bases in China. Theproduction is seasonal and regional, however, the demand for agricultural products is great, andconsumption is perennial and universal，promoting green logistics of agricultural products is of greatsignificance to improve logistics efficiency, new rural reconstruction and sustainable development of socialeconomy.In this paper, by means of the literature collection and field survey method, combining qualitative andquantitative methods, the development strategy of green logistics of agricultural products in Henanprovince is reviewed analysis.Based on the basic theories of logistics of agricultural products; this paperintroduced the relative theories about green logistics of agricultural products, both at home and abroad.Many developed foreign countries attach great importance to safety control for agricultural products andthe influence of logistics to environment, and have made great progress in the greening of logistics ofagricultural products. Taking the experience of green logistics of agricultural products in foreign developedcountries or regions as lessons, this paper analyzed the development situation of green logistics ofagricultural products in Henan province. The main problems include inadequate understanding of theconcept of green logistics of agricultural products, out-dated technology of green logistics, lack ofprofessional talents in green logistics of agricultural products, the low modernization level of logistics of agricultural products and imperfect policy and system. At last the countermeasure for developing greenlogistics of agricultural products in our province is put forward. We should increase the government support,increase understanding of the green logistics value of agricultural products, develop professional talents inthis area and improve the level of modernization of logistics; we should implement green packaging,transportation, storage and processing.
