Abstract


The boundary of firm is one of focuses of the theory of firm.Transaction cost is the sole marginal criterion of firm boundary in New Institution Economics,but in Classical Economics,the most important headspring of economic development is labor division and specialization.Our model analysis and observations of economic development of labor division are the key factors of the change of organizations’coordination mechanism.The market and the firm are both the coordination mechanism of labor division.The market is based on the price mechanism and the autonomous decision-making,meanwhile the firm is through the plans and the authority of command.On this base,combined with the analysis of the development of enterprises in our country,we rise up some relevant policy recommendations for the enterprises deepening reform.
