In a uncertain environment,the strategy of the firm must be changed when its internal condition andexternal environment change。To be one of the most important partial of the theory of strategymanagement,strategy change has been paid more attention。Researchers have started to explore corporationstrategy change with different methods and different perspectives,also have formed various perspectives。With the deepening of global integration and the rapid development of science and technology。The degreeof integration between the organization have become more sophisticated,companies are increasingly diveinto a variety of external networks。Network,as a characteristic of the company,its’ formation、structureand management capability affect the condition of the firm。So,this paper try to analyse the influence ofnetwork capability on firm strategic change from network perspective。The research based on the theory of social network and strategic change,and analyse the influence ofnetwork capability on firm strategic change from network perspective。In this study,based on the study,organize and review articles of Chinese or Englishon on network capability and strategic change,combinedwith the article’s contents and research objectives,the paper defines the concept of network capability asthe capability to form and management the network of external relationship of the firm,and vision thecapability in three dimension of network formation capability,relationship management capability andportfolio management capability and the characteristic of network structure to analysis in the first。Secondly,use information and knowledge as middle element,to analyse the affect mechanism that how donetwork capability impact on strategic change through network structure and network relationship。Thethree dimensions of network capability were affect the characteristic of network structure and the obtain ofinformation and knowledge of the firm;The new strategy based on information,and knowledge affect thestrategy logic of the formation of new strategy during strategic change。At last,form a new interpretationframework based on the theory analysis,and use case study method to test the effectiveness of theinterpretation framework。According to the theoretical analysis,this paper give assumption that theformation of new strategy during strategic change based on the information and knowledge that acquiredfrom network which firm embedded,while,the three dimensions of network capability determine thenetwork structure and network relationship and affect the acquisition of information and knowledge from its relationship network。The main innovations are:(1)The definition of the concept of network capabilityWith the review of previous articles,and based on "nature&differential characters"method,define thenature of network capability as capability,and the differential characters as network,to standard thestatements of the concept。And statement the concept of network capability as:the capability to form andmanagement the network of external relationship。(2)This paper explores and puts forward the network capability impact on strategic changeWhile strategy scholars primarily focus on internal firm capabilities and network scholars typicallyexamine network structure。And the researchs about strategy in perspective of network are mainly try tointerpretation the relationship between strategy alliance and network structure。Within this paper,throughanalysis,we form a interpretation framework of the affect of network capability on strategic change withinformation and knowledge as the middle elements,then test the interpretation framework with two specialincidents come from the case of a enterprise。
