Service industry and service trade have a wide range of traits:multi-level, comprehensive, high service level, to absorb the labor ability. Not only can the coordination of domestic various departments economic operation, increase the material wealth of society, but also can raise the level of the open economy. In the economic globalization and free trade has become the mainstream of the times background, vigorously develop the service industry and service trade, has become the developed economy and the economic development of the important force in emerging countries. For China, the development speed of service industry although fast, but the overall level is low; the development of service trade although has been growing, but has been in a state of "deficit". Therefore, a clear relationship between service industry and service trade can help us to develop a policy to promote the development of both, so as to improve the people’s living standards, improve the industrial structure, promote the steady development of the national economy.In this paper, the research object is the relationship between service industry and service trade. First, the paper defines the basic concepts of the service industry and trade, the study uses the theory, a literature review and research status. Secondly, the paper introduces the current development of China’s service industry and service trade from the aspects of the overall scale, development level, the internal structure. Thirdly, this paper focuses on the relationship between service industry and trade to do in-depth analysis, pointed out that the service industry is the prerequisite and basis for the further development of trade in services, trade in services in turn promote the service industry. Finally, the thesis in Chinese service industry added value relations, and China’s service trade import and export between China service industry growth for empirical research on ways of China’s services trade export growth as well as the way of Chinese service trade export growth of.China’s service industry growth, using the data correlation test, unit root test, co-integration test, Granger causality test and other econometric method of relevant variables were analyzed, the true, exact reaches the conclusions. The conclusion of the study not only demonstrates the relationship between service industry and service trade, but also specify the influencing factors of service industry and service trade development and effect size.
