Abstract


With the acceleration of economic globalization and updating information technology,service industry has a booming development. Service industry makes an increase proportion of global output and employment share. It also promotes the rapid expansion of service trade. The growth of service trade is far exceeding the growth of goods trade. So the service industry gradually became the tool of restructuring and the alternative strategy of mainstay industry. Compared with developed countries, service industry and trade in service in China have been developing slowly and leading to weak competitiveness. European Union as the world largest regional economic groups, not only be with a higher degree of economic and social modernization, but also highly develop in service industry and service trade. This paper analyzes the development of service trade between China and the EU, which is not only benefit to recognize the service and trade gap between China and the EU, but also to help our government to make and implement the measures and relevant polices by learning the successful experience. At last, it also helps us to optimize the structure and enhance international competitiveness of service trade.
