Abstract


Since China entered the aging society in 1999 , the degree of aging is growing . 60 years of age or older population in the decade 1999-2009 , a net increase of 4,000 million . China more than 167 million 60 - year - old elderly population , and 100 million in rural areas . The aging population in rural areas in the absolute number of towns . Currently, the the rural aging rate has reached 15% . In this study, it is the current aging status , especially the rural population aging into the background started. Part in the theoretical study , in reference to the results of previous studies based on the redefinition of the concept of a rural family pension costs , and clear the family pension costs include the economic cost , opportunity cost , and spiritual costs of three parts . In empirical research, the empirical analysis of four different types of rural households in Xi County of Shanxi pension costs , summarizes the current status and characteristics of rural family pension costs : the overall demand for actual meet ; low household income , high economic costs ; care needs , the opportunity cost is small ; social support to light , the spirit of the cost of re- In summing up the discussion section , the important issues related to the core concepts, research methods , as well as the Institute of the discussion .
