Abstract


Urban agglomerations as a space within the region-specific morphology, is increasingly becoming the basic geographic unit of the countries or regions to participate in the global competition, and the international division of labor. Its development will profoundly affect the international competitiveness of the country (region), the great significance of the sustained and stable economic development of the country (region). In June 2009, the Guanzhong - Tianshui Economic Zone Development Plan \How to speed up the cultivation of the city of Xi'an (Xianyang) as the core group is the major issues need to be resolved in the Guanzhong - Tianshui Economic Zone Development according to the country's overall strategic requirements and regional development actual. This paper based on the defined urban agglomeration related to the concept of a city group nurture the relevant theoretical guidance, the use of typical survey and comparative analysis, history and reality, specification analysis and empirical analysis, quantitative analysis of combining and qualitative analysis, Guanzhong - Tianshui Economic Zone in the city group's scale level structure, functions of the structure, the space structure of the dynamic evolution of the process of analysis, the Guanzhong - Tianshui Economic Zone city group prominent problems are pointed out, and thus the overall national strategic requirements and the regional development of the actual, proposed cultivated urban agglomerations goals and ideas, and the key elements of the group cultivate to extract economic zone cities, on this basis, puts forward the Economic Area the urban agglomeration Association control the path. Each chapter reads as follows: Chapter 1 Introduction and research background, purpose and significance of the research dynamic overview, research ideas, technical framework, research methods and thesis innovations. Chapter II urban agglomeration nurture theory based on the concept of the urban agglomeration of metropolitan area, town-intensive areas defined, and the relationship among described, and then analyzes the relationship of the urban agglomeration and regional development; on this basis elaborate the the urban agglomeration general conditions, as well as the basic theory of the urban agglomeration nurture.
