Nowadays, how to quickly and accurately detect the metal ion content in the living body,the environment and the food has become one important research subject in the analyticalchemistry, the environmental chemistry, the life science and other disciplines. Fluorescentmolecular probe method, with the characteristics of simple operation, less sampling, low costand remote digital transmission, is an excellent metal iron analysis method with broadapplication prospects. In this dissertation, the efforts were focusd on design and synthesis ofnew fluorescent molecule derived from2,5-diphenylfuran and stuty of their molecularrecognition and sensing for metal ions by UV and fluorescent spectroscope. A series ofcreative results have been obtained. The research results were summarized below:1. Based on the PET principle, a new fluorescent probe II-1with8-hydroxyquinolineunit as recognition function and2,5-diphenylfura as fluorophore was designed andsynthesized. Its structure and conformation was fully confirmed by single crystal X-raydiffraction. Its chemosensory properties for metal ions were studied by UV and fluorescentspectroscope. It was found that it exhibited selective recognition towards Fe3+among13metal ions investigated in DMF/water (98:2, v/v) BR buffer solution with fluorescencequenching, and formed1:1stoichiometry complex with Fe3+.2. A new clip-type fluorescent acceptor III-1with two mercaptobenzothiazole attached tothe parent nucleus of the2,5-diphenylfuran via methylene was designed and synthesized. andits structure and conformation was fully confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Itschemosensory properties for metal ions were also studied by UV and fluorescent spectroscope.It was found that it also exhibited selective recognition towards Fe3+among other metal ionsinvestigated in DMF/water (98:2, v/v) BR buffer solution with fluorescence quenching, andformed1:1stoichiometry complex with Fe3+.3. A new fluorescent probe IV-1with2,5-diphenylfura as fluorophore and DPA unit asrecognition function was designed and synthesized. Its molecular structure was confirmed bysingle crystal diffraction. Its binding properties investigated by UV and fluorescencespectroscope showed that it can selectively bind Co2+and Ni2+with fluorescence quenching,and formed1:1stoichiometry complex with Co2+and Ni2+.
