Abstract

Liquid-phase microextraction was developed in recent years. It is a new sample preparation technique which incorporates sampling, extraction and concentration into a single step and makes use of only a small amount of solvent for concentrating targets from aqueous samples. Recent years, the solvent of lower density has been widely used in separation and extraction process. The traditional sovent has disadvanges of high toxic, serious damage to the environment. Using1-dodecanol can overcome these shortcomings. To determine organic pollutants in water samples,1-dodecanol was used instead of organic solvent combining dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction based on solidification of floating organic droplet coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography. The main contents are as follows:1. A novel dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction based on solidification of floating organic droplet coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography was developed for determination of phenolic compounds in water samples.1-dodecanol was used as extractant, and the experiment was performed under the condition of1-dodecanol volume70μL, dispersive solvent (methanol) volume500μL, pH6.0, extraction time1min, no salt. Under this optimum condition, the concentration factor was84~123, linear range was between10to800ng/mL, the limit of detection was0.10~1.50ng/mL and relative standard deviation was3.2~5.3%. Water samples including tap water, river water and spring water were analyzed by the procedure and the spiked relative recoveries were in the range of85.0%~110.0%.2. A novel dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction based on solidification of floating organic droplet coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography was developed for determination of parabens in beverage samples. The experiment was performed under the condition of extraction solvet (1-dodecanol) volume70μL, dispersive solvent volume500μL, pH4.0, extraction time1min,4%(w/v) of salt added. Under this optimum condition, the concentration factors were84-219, linear range was5~1000ng/mL, relative standard deviation was2.54%~3.89%and the limits of detection were0.17~1.52ng/mL. Water samples including tap water, river water and spring water were analyzed by the method, and the spiked relative recoveries were in the range of89.8%~118.1%.3. A novel dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction based on solidification of floating organic droplet coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography was developed for determination of triclocarban in water samples. The method was completed under the condition of1-dodecanol volume80μL, dispersive solvent volume700μL, extraction time1min, pH13. Under this optimum condition, linear range was1.0~5000ng/mL, the concentration factor was121, the limits of detection was2.08ng/mL, and relative standard deviation was2.54%. Water samples including tap water, river water and spring river water were analyzed by the method, and the spiked relative recoveries were in the range of89.6%~95.6%.
