Abstract

Mannitol, sorbitol and gluconate are widely used in medicine, food, chemical and other fields. Electrolysis is the electrolytic reduction at atmospheric pressure, and does not require special chemical reagents, product purity, low cost and potential industrial prospects. Electrolysis domestic Professor Gu Dengping the paired electrolysis glucose in yin and yang, the synthesis of mannitol, sorbitol and gluconate variety of products, the current efficiency has improved greatly and only 70% of the conversion rate on the cathode of glucose, mannitol yield only about 20%, the key is the anode and cathode of the electrolyte must be added to the appropriate electrolyte, electrolysis reaction is dependent on the mass transfer process of the electrolyte. The experiment dedicated to research the appropriate SPE clip membrane electrode, and this electrode on the cathode the electrolytic synthesis mannitol and sorbitol to give a higher yield and current efficiency. The main work is as follows: 1: successfully prepared several excellent conductive adhesive, to do a preliminary study of its performance; 2: Preparation of the SPE folder membrane composite electrode: electrochemical synthesis of mannitol and sorbitol selected Pb as cathode material, DSA as the anode material, using a homogeneous cation exchange membrane as a film clip, the anode and cathode and the separator through the conductive adhesive homemade uniform bonded together, made of the SPE film clip electrodes. The results show that the the new SPE folder membrane electrode than traditional SPE electrode preparation process is simple, easy to operate, high mechanical strength, low cost and extend the service life out of the laboratory for green electrochemical provide a feasible method to achieve industrialization. 3: SPE capsular type composite electrode as a diaphragm electrolyzer yin and yang of the electrode chamber separately, to do a study on the cathode chamber electrolysis of glucose synthesis sorbitol and mannitol derived with this electrode cathode electrolysis glucose optimal conditions for homemade diaphragm type electrolyzer cathode liquid glucose electrolyte concentration of 0.6mol / l glucose, pH = 11, at a temperature of 50 ° C, current density of 0.3A/dm2, energization amount of 1.1 times the theoretical power, and in this optimized conditions highest the cathodic conversion rate of glucose conversion rate reached 93% .4: qualitatively by infrared spectroscopy of separated product to be tested polarimeter test, as well as nuclear magnetic mass spectrometer for qualitative characterization; 5: the classical conversion of chemical analysis method, the detection of glucose rate basis to verify the reliability of the spectrophotometric method for real-time monitoring of the rate of conversion of glucose, thereby establishing the the spectrophotometry real-time monitoring of product, reducing sugar content of the monitoring program.
