Abstract


In 2008, the global financial crisisbegan in the United States then swept across the world, and had significant influence on the world economy and even politics. USA, Europe, Japan’s economies suffered great losses, and the developed countries suffered economic downturn on the whole. However, the emerging economies were strengthened comparatively. China’s role in the financial crisis and its international grew considerably. Facing the complex situation, China’s diplomatic strategy were made corresponding adjustment because of the global financial crisis. China took positive measures, which showed new characteristics.This paper, based on the impact of the financial crisis on the World and China, makes a comprehensive analysis, but also researches and summarizes the feathers of China’s diplomatic strategy after the break of the financial crisis in order to seek a peacefully development for China. .The paper is made up of three parts. In the first part, the impact of the global financial crisis on the World including China is mainly represented its impact on global economy and politics as well as the challenges that the global financial crisis brought to China’s development. In the second part, the analysis is made to analyse the feathers of China’s diplomatic strategy and to conclude a all-round, economical diplomacy, paying more emphasis to take the corresponding responsibilities. In the third part, an overview on the direction of China’s diplomacy is made to analyse the challenges, the opportunities, and the nurture direction brought by the global financial crisis.The central argument is: the outbreak of the global financial crisis to China’s is both challenges and opportunities. We will make good use of the important strategic opportunities, stay awake mind, and adjust the Chinese foreign policy according to the current domestic and international changes so as to improve China’s position on the international stage for the development of China and to create a better environment. The main feathers of China’s diplomacy under the background of the global financial crisis are as follows: the multilateral diplomacy will be more active; public diplomacy is becoming more prominent; the economic diplomacy is going deeper; more attention is paid to share international responsibilities; the interests of the state as the core is more prominently safeguarded.
