Abstract


This article aims at establishing value directions that our country’s ideological and political education must have at present, making up the long-term mechanism of ideological and political education, by comparing identical and different aspect of ideological and political education in China and Singapore, adopting good qualities, giving up bad qualities; adopting strong points, giving up weak points, making use for me depending on the guide of fundamental theory of Marxism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory and "The Tress Represents" the important thought, adhere to the Scientific Development Outlook, following the principle of "regard man as foundation, emancipate the mind, thinking correspond to reality, advancing with times, initiation and innovation", according to the demand of "place me in the main position, absorb nourishment extensively, make use of foreign things for China"The identical aspects of ideological and political education in China and Singapore are mainly determined by the characteristic and laws of ideological and political education itself as well as the demand of times. The different of ideological and political education in China and Singapore is mainly caused by different social system and culture background. The valuable orientation of our country’s ideological and political education should be based on the definite Chinese and Singapore ideological and political education’s similarities and differences, stand on the commanding point in era, lean against history, have the whole characteristic of ideological and political education and rule of development, absorb past successful experience, "make the past serve the present", "weed out the old and bring forth the new", draw lessons from some strong point of Singapore ideological and political education again, "make foreign things serve china", have complementary advantages.This article is divided into five parts:Chapter 1 Introduction pointed out that the comparative research on ideological and political education between China and Singapore background, purpose and the significance of the study, current research situation on the theme. ChapterⅡof the ideological and political education’s overview. First definite the concepts of ideological and political education, and the backgrounds and development process of China and Singapore. ChapterⅢof the comparison on the ideological and political education’s present situation between China and Singapore form the status and role, the goals, contents, ways. ChapterⅣof the further promulgates the generality and individuality. ChapterⅤ proposes several suggestions concerning the enhancement of education of such in this country using the experience of that in the Singapore for reference. Chapter VI of the conclusion of the article on the contents of a self-evaluation.
