As the development of the new century, the demand for talents is getting higher and higher. The reform and innovation in school teaching method and teaching strategy are essential ways to train talents. In 1994, the original State Education Committee formulated "Higher Education Reform Plan for 21st Century Oriented Course Content And Curriculum System "which explicitly pointed out the general objective of teaching reform needs to follow the "modernization" path.The modern multimedia can integrate text, sound, graph, phantom, animation and video into a new kind of media to present and broadcast information whose introduction has injected new blood and vitality into teaching and created a new flag for morden teaching. The application of multimedia CAI coursewares in sports teaching has created a new flag for the modernized sports curriculum teaching.Compared with traditional teaching methods, CAI courseware multimedia auxiliary teaching is a teaching activity which takes computer as the main teaching medium. It is widespread in education and will urge huge revolution in teaching media, teaching method, teaching material concept and form, classroom instruction structure, teaching thought and teaching theory. Because it is direct and active, it can motivate students to participate in study whole with all sense and improve study efficiency and memory. This paper tries to study the function of multimedia courseware aid instruction and the advantage of multimedia courseware teaching mode from four aspects, including courseware exploration, experiment implementation, expert verification and student assessment, through literature study, interview, questionaire, experiment, statistics and data analysis,leading to the following conclusion:The experimental class and the comparison class does not have the significance difference after the teaching experiment’s physical quality target and the technical standards, the technical technique comments the existence significance difference; The comparison class’s physical quality, the technical technique comment, the technical standards not to have the significance difference around the teaching experiment; The experimental class technical standards does not have the significance difference around the teaching, a minute rope skipping and the technical technique comment the existence significance difference; students became interested in pingpong and formed a good study attitude; After the multimedia courseware of push left and attack right union technique for pingpong was applied in teaching.
