Abstract

This thesis is divided into two parts, the CuO nanowires prepared by thermal oxidation as the first part. The influence of different temperature on the morphology of CuO nanowires have also been studied. The structure, morphology, and growth mechanism of CuO nanowires was analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer (EDX). For the second part, the preparation and optical properties of aluminum surface periodic nano-pits texture were discussed. The Al surface periodic nano-pits texture was prepared by Al anodic oxidation in the solution of oxalic acid, phosphoric acid and citric acid. By using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM), X-ray diffraction instrument (XRD), light scattering instrument and UV-visible near-infrared spectrum analyzer (UV-VIS-NIR), the structure and optical properties of Al surface periodic nano-pits under different conditions of anodic oxidation were studied. Meanwhile the formation mechanism of the porous alumina membrane(AAO) have been discussed. The following conclusions were obtained:(1) With increasing oxidation temperature, the diameter of CuO nanowires increases, the length increased gradually in the temperature range of400℃-500℃, Subsequently, the length decreased with the increase of the temperature from500℃to700℃. The diameter and length of CuO nanowires fabricated at600℃is140nm and4μm, respectively.(2) The XRD spectra of the sample indicated that the Cu thermal oxidation in the air includes Cu2O and CuO.(3) By using scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), The Cu oxide presented layered distribution including CuO nanowires, CuO layer, and Cu2O respectively.(4) The growth mechanism of CuO nanowires is due to oxidation stress and the diffusion of Cu ion.(5) The size and depth of Al film surface periodic nano-pits increased with the anodizing voltage increases. The size and depth of Al film surface periodic nano-pits is785nm and438nm in4%citric acid under the anodizing voltage of300V. (6) The regularity of Al film surface periodic nano-pits was prepared in a solution of oxalic acid, phosphoric acid and citric acid solution:oxalic> citric acid> phosphoric acid.(7)The light scattering intensity of Al film surface periodic nano-pits texture decreases with the scattering angle increases. Simultaneously, it enhances with the diameter of Al film surface nano-pits.(8) The light reflectance of the sample decreases with the increase of the size of Al film surface nano-pits, which is consistent with the light scattering properties of the Al film surface nano-pits.
