Abstract

The root respiration energy source tree root life activities , and are subject to the environmental impact of tree growth . Nitrogen is one of the large number of elements of the tree of life activities necessary to affect the larger elements , is also the root respiration . In order to study the mechanism of nitrogen regulation of root respiration , using Li-7000 connected the homemade root breathing room (closed system ) of different nitrogen supply and different forms of nitrogen ratio in laboratory hydroponic Manchurian ash ( Fraxinus mandshurica ) planting seedlings root complete respiration rate measurement and determination of the nitrogen in roots , soluble proteins , mainly nitrogen metabolism enzyme , carbohydrate content . The results show that : pure ammonium nitrogen environment with a certain role in promoting of Fraxinus mandshurica root growth ; the seedlings showed some seasonal root respiration , the a different month Nitrogen concentration on root respiration ; in the seedlings N03 - N under the action of root respiration to changes in the ambient temperature is relatively sensitive , Q10 value no significant difference between treatments significantly ( P gt ; 0.05) ; , the more favorable growth medium nitrogen content more seedlings all the accumulation of nitrogen content between root respiration rate and root total nitrogen content are positively related ; tendency to increase with the increase of the nitrate content of the roots , root respiration rate presented ; various organs of the sensitivity of the changes in the nitrogen supply different growth medium in the presence of ammonium nitrogen may affect plant nitrate uptake , thereby affecting the accumulation of soluble proteins in plants ; NR activity increased gradually with increasing external nitrogen concentration , while GS activity with outside nitrogen concentration decreases ; various organs of the seedlings soluble sugars ( sucrose , glucose , fructose ) , have shown a certain phenomenon of enhanced ammonium nutrition , a positive correlation between root respiration rate and soluble sugar and starch .
