Abstract

To explore the roots of scientific and rational division of the root diameter of the paper to the natural conditions of the Changbai Mountain area Manchurian ash as the research object, the characteristics of the ash trees and root respiration, root respiration to temperature and humidity as well as reflected in the short-term nutrient. The main findings are as follows: 1. Manchurian ash overall root respiration rate in the active the forest root growth and physiological activities in July reached the highest level in the measurement time 16,25,29 and 47-year-old Manchurian ash root respiration rate minimum in November, followed by May. Manchurian ash different diameter unit root surface area of ??the respiratory rate increased with increasing diameter, respiration rate differences between the different root diameter class extremely significant (P lt; 0.01), the unit root volume respiration rate (P = 0.048) and the ratio respiration rate (P = 0.11) with the increase in the root diameter decreases. Based on the root surface area and dry weight determination of ash trees and maintain breathing, the relationship between growth and respiration and root diameter class root respiration rate and the diameter of the relationship, namely: the unit root surface area of ??the respiratory rate increases as the root diameter The level of increase and improve the unit root dry weight reduce respiration rate, along with the increase in root diameter class. Consistent with this, but maintain respiratory variation opposite of ash trees based on the root volume measured the relationship between growth of breathing and root diameter class. The roots of ash trees and maintain respiratory proportion increased with the increase of the root diameter. 4 of Fraxinus mandshurica root respiration rate along with the determination of the temperature increases significantly strengthen the same temperature, the unit root surface area of ??the respiratory rate with the root diameter of the increase and strengthen the unit root volume and dry weight of respiration rate with the root increased diameter and reduced. 5. Nutrient supply have a significant impact on Manchurian ash root respiration. Nitrogen supply on respiration rate per unit volume than the respiration rate was significantly greater than the surface area of ??the unit root respiration rate more strongly, both reached a very significant level (P lt; 0.001). 6 root diameter classes lt; 2mm ,2-5mm and gt; overall 5mm root respiration rate and soil temperature, soil moisture, and soil nitrogen content was positively correlated with trends that the Manchurian ash of different diameter root respiration with soil temperature , soil moisture and soil nitrogen content is increased in a certain range to improve. A very significant role in different soil depth of the of Fraxinus mandshurica root respiration.
