Abstract


Recently, hardly could we create innovative hydraulic product given theexistence of abundant kinds of hydraulic components nowadays. Consequently,optimization of current hydraulic components such as increasing their workingpressure levels, volumetric/mechanical efficiency and others functionparameters, is the critical tendency for the development of mainstream fluidpower field. Also the optimization is recognized as the representative ofintegration of system innovation. Meanwhile, due to the rapid growth ofdomestic industries, the demand for high performance components risesincreasingly. Under all these circumstances, we propose the optimization ofengagement for cycloid meshing so as to scheme out Orbit motor with highperformance and to break the price monopolization of a few multinationalcorporations in domestic market.Firstly, we demonstrate the recent research and the developing trend of theOrbit motor, cycloid gear machining method and cycloid meshing briefly; pointout demand for orbit motor with high performance due to prosperous machineryindustry; review recent research about the essential part of the Orbit motor andcycloid meshing. Thus, we reflect on the necessity and significance of this papergiven all the description above.Secondly, because of complexity of cycloid’s contour, we used to applyempirical formula to estimate the nominal flow rate of orbit motor.Correspondingly, we cannot conduct quantitative analysis about the functionparameters’ impact on nominal flow rate and torque pulsation rate. However, forthis paper, we propose, manipulate, derive and find out the theoretical formulafor flow rate on the basis of origination principle of curtate-epicycloid, togetherwith engaging law of cycloid deputy of Orbit motor. Accordingly, we analyzethe function parameters and its influence on flow rate/torque pulsation rate.Thirdly, considering the machining error/assembling deviation of cycloidgear/pin gear, we always adopt the scheme of revised curtate-epicycloid instead of ideal curtate-epicycloid for cycloid contour in pragmatic usage. And themajority of traditional research aim at revise of cycloid for its application oncycloid planetary reducer, which differs from revise of cycloid of cycloidmeshing of orbit motor for its internal specialty. We propose two innovativerevise method(two spot engagement)in accordance with the traditional revisemethod mentioned above; novel grinding technique for cycloid and incombination with specialty of cycloid of orbit motor.With this new method of two spot engagement, we calculate the range ofdegrees for this revise theoretically; obtain the formula for the improved cycloidcontour with MATLAB Optimization Toolbox; and form a brand new revisemethod aiming at cycloid of Orbit motor.To sum up, we examine the correctness of this revise method by testifying/comparing the performance of Orbit motor before/after the optimization andanalyzing relative data(performance parameters)from the experiment on thetest bench in Ningbo ZhongYi Hydraulic Motor Co., Ltd.
