In order to identify the appearance quality of the flue-cured tobacco in Qianxinan, provide the reference for the features high quality tobacco exploitation and cigarette industrial enterprise purchasing materials.The project selected101typical samples in6countries of Qianxinan, quantified the appearance quality and analysied. The results show that:(1)The average score of the flue-cured tobacco’s color in Qianxinan is9.41, it has a trend of decrease direction distribution from east to west.(2) The average score of maturity is9.04and special distribution in southeast and northwest area is higher,northeast and southwest is lower.(3) The average score of leaf structure is9.04,the trend of spatial distribution is similar to the maturity.(4)The average score of body is8.87,spatial distribution has a trend of decrease from west to east.(5)The average score of oil is7.48,spatial distribution in south and north is higher than east and west.(6)The average score of color is7.19spatial distribution has a decrease from east to west.(7)The index of appearance average score is86.33,the spatial distribution is similar to color intensity.(8)The value of the color, the maturity, the leaf structure, the body, thecolor intensity and the index of appearance in Qianxinan were higher than the average value of main type in domestic that belong to first-class level.(9)The general characteristics of appearance quality were as follows:the color was mostly orange,with well ripe,open leaf structure,moderate body,well oil and strong color intensity.overall appearance shows good quality.
