Abstract


In Hainan Island, South China typical tropical montane rain forest as an object, in theoriginal forest, different intensity selective cutting after cutting forests were set fixed sample,the use of cutting before and after harvesting thirteen years (1998-2011) of the survey data,through biomass and carbon coefficient calculation model to estimate the strength of differentcutting carbon stocks in tropical montane rain forest composition and trends, draw thefollowing preliminary conclusions:Selective intensity of53.5%of forest carbon stocks in dead wood ratio of maximum intensityof45.3%selective cutting of forest carbon stocks in dead wood lowest rate; low-intensityselective and non-selective cutting deforestation forest carbon stocks remaining trees higherthan the growth rate high-intensity selective cutting forests; not selective cutting andlow-intensity selective cutting forest carbon stock growth rate higher than the totalhigh-intensity selective cutting forest; wood carbon stocks into the community with selectivecutting intensity ratio increases. Fagaceae tree carbon stocks, followed by the Lauraceae trees;dominant species (group) carbon stocks and selective cutting intensity ratio was negativelycorrelated. Level in the trails, keep wood carbon stocks in each diameter class growth withselective cutting intensity increases, the large diameter grade carbon stocks in each diameterclass selective cutting intensity changes with no significant relationship.
