Campylotropis macrocarpa is a wild flower shrubs of high ornamental and strong adaptability It has purple flowers, lush green leaves with beautiful crown form the fall a beautiful scenery line,and long ornamental period, high ornamental value, thus it has great potential.(1) In the biological characteristics, through outdoor habitat phenological observation and survey shows Campylotropis macrocarpa of the anniversary of the growing season about274d, flowering period lasts from early September until mid to late October about43d, beautiful purple flowers, ornamental value is very high; Through the wild habitat poll Campylotropis macrocarpa is good companion species in natural communities, rich in resources, stable performance, more scattered in sunny brush and rock seam.(2) Breeding experimental research show that Campylotropis macrocarpa seed propagation, different temperature, seed soaking30min different effects on the germination ability,60℃processing the effect is best, and up to80%germination rate, germination potential of54.7%, germination index of69.47; Hard branch cuttage relative difficult, the experimental results showed that high concentration of ShengGenFen promote Campylotropis macrocarpa rooting effect significantly, with concentration of200mg· kg-1NAA treatment had the best results, the rooting rate was62.56%, the root number was7.22, and root length of10.4cm.(3) In resistance test, drought resistance studies have shown that with the increase of drought stress days, Campylotropis macrocarpa leaf physiological indexes showed different changes; from the appearance observation Campylotropis macrocarpa experience can still grow well after a long dry period, has not been seriously affected. Results show that Campylotropis macrocarpa is a kind of plant is not sensitive to moisture, can grow well in dry areas. Salt resistance research shows that all the physiological indicators of Campylotropis macrocarpa reach the peak value almostly when the salt stress is around15d,and the values changes distinguishly when the concentration is200mmol·1-1.By observing found Campylotropis macrocarpa plant growth by high concentration of salt stress in poor condition and leaves begin to fall off. Results show that Campylotropis macrocarpa resistance to salt stress has a certain capacity, can be short-term or grow in the lower salt concentration.(4) In garden applications, wild flower shrubs Campylotropis macrocarpa is good for delicate, the flower with long corolla lavender red, butterfly, raceme, cute, and easy to breed easy cultivation, strong resistance, resistance to trim. It could be applied to the the flower border, slope greening, flowers hedge, flower beds, shrubs, potted plants and cut flowers.It has good application value and development prospects.
