Purpose:Using Shenque point of drug therapy to treat diarrhea type irritable bowel syndrome, To observe its curative effect and quality of life improvement; To explore a convenient and quick, economic and effective treatment method.Methods:Using simple randomized controlled method to conform the inclusion criteria cases.53cases of diarrhea type irritable bowel syndrome patients were randomly divided into acupuncture point to medicine group of26cases and conventional western medicine control group of27cases. Compared two groups of clinical symptom scores before and after therapy. Including single integrals as character, mucus stool frequency, excrement and urine and abdominal pain, abdominal distention, endless defecate. Compare two groups before and after treatment the quality of life score, including eight dimensions of conflict behavior like irritability, physical character of single integrals. Assess curative effect of Two groups.Results:(1)Symptoms of two groups before treatment baseline scores was comparable (P>0.05), score of two groups when for1week treatment and after treatment were decreased, Acupuncture point to medicine group score is lower than the control group (P<0.01), The longer treatment period of treatment, The more obvious score reduction, the more obvious the improvement in clinical symptoms. Supersession of dosing groups especially in for defecation frequency, stool properties was better than control group on the improvement of the symptoms.(2) The quality of life rating scale of two groups before treatment was comparable (P>0.05).the acupuncture point to medicine group after treatment scores is higher than the control group (P<0.05).It can effectively improve the quality of life of patients with IBS-D (P<0.01), while the control group in no improvement for the quality of life aspects. Acupuncture point improvement better to medicine group in irritability, conflict behavior, physical character, health concerns.(3) The total effective rate of meridian group was88.46%. in the control group was62.96%. The acupuncture point to drug treatment group curative effect is better than the western medicine control group (P<0.01).Conclusion:Acupuncture point to medicine can treat diarrhea type irritable bowel syndrome, can effectively improve the clinical symptoms, improve patient quality of life, and has.better curative effect, convenient operation, no side effects, and many other advantages than conventional western medicine therapy
