Over the past 2000 years, metaphor in the West and has been used as a means of rhetoric research. However, modern cognitive linguistics holds that metaphor is a basic way of human cognition of the world, and is an important means of human thinking. Metaphor is based on a relatively concrete concept to explain or understand a relatively abstract concept domain. People's feelings are abstract, difficult to express. In order to vivid expression of it, people often use the metaphor, this is emotional metaphor. This study combined with the theory of emotion metaphor Lakoff's conceptual metaphor theory and kovecses, the basic human emotions of joy, anger, sadness, fear as the research object, first of all, selected a large number of Japanese and Chinese emotion corpus. Then, according to the theory of metaphor, the selected corpus to human emotion metaphor, feeling emotion metaphor, metaphor, ontological metaphor force, direction of emotion metaphor five. Next, mainly from the five kinds of Emotional Metaphor view, Japanese and Chinese emotion metaphors are analyzed. Through the analysis, the Japanese and Chinese emotion metaphors are both common, there are also relative difference. In addition, the causes of difference were discussed, the common physiological basis and culture based on the consensus. The relative differences are caused by different cultural traditions and national consciousness. At present, a comparative study of Chinese and Japanese emotional metaphor is not sufficient, the paper as an attempt has inevitably omissions in the research process. But this research to study and master the expression of emotion metaphors in Chinese and Japanese and Japanese culture such as understanding can help, I feel grateful.
