Abstract


Liuba county is located in the northern of HanZhong city in shaanxi province, thesouth of QinLing hinterland, HanJiang upstream.Qing dynasty before establishing,once for the wild land, and remote. Because of territory, ravines crossbar, themountains overlap, external traffic is inconvenience, Liuba words while influenced bythe peripheral dialect and mandarin, both retained the ancient Chinese ingredients,and has formed its own rich and expressive language features.Liuba words have23syllable onset,36syllable rime, four tone category, belongsto the southwest mandarin in their piece of small piece.Liuba words has richword-formation ways.
