Abstract


With the highly development of modern society, the information communicationbetween different countries and areas is becoming more and more important. SinceChina and Japan are close neighbors which are connected by the same waters, ourtwo countries develop a long history of friendly change in the fields of politics,economy and culture. In the time of globalization, the communication has been morevital. And press media definitely plays a significant role in this situation due to itshigh efficiency of spreading information. In China, many websites and magazinesreprint Japanese news, the People’s Daily even carry out the theory of“Chinese-to-Japanese translation”.The main issue of this paper is to insight the methods of “Japanese news translationinto Chinese”. On one hand, the author observes the language feathers of news reportand Japanese news report. It turns out that:“Accurate, Concise, Specific, Easy tounderstand” are the four main features of news report. Meanwhile, the Japanesenews title is divided into objective ones and subjective ones. And the characteristicsof grammars in Japanese news title are: summary title, quoting title and “themodifier-plus-noun” title. On the other hand, the characteristics of grammars inJapanese report including common locutions, subjective sentences and longsentences are also analyzed in this paper. At last, the paper concentrates on thefeatures of language use in Japanese news, that are using Chinese character,borrowed words and abbreviations. By researching the grammatical features ofJapanese, comparing it with Chinese and exploring the rules of translation. This paper aims to move forward the track of translation between Chinese and Japanese innews report.
