Abstract


Exchange rate as a contact domestic and international economic ties, reflect and influence a country's foreign economic relations and the domestic economic situation is one of the core variables. Exchange rate movement has its own unique rules, we exchange rate movements and their interaction with other economic variables of the principle and implementation process is known as \Exchange rate mechanism' dissertation">Exchange rate mechanism in an open economy, just as the interest rate mechanism in the macro-economy, the price mechanism of the micro economy, has a very important research value. Unfortunately, the current foreign exchange rate mechanism has not been seen for a systematic study of the literature. The purpose of this paper is holding appetizers, try to establish an exchange rate mechanism of the preliminary framework and within this framework combing various related consolidated previous theoretical results, while seeking to make a logical and practical innovation. ? The exchange rate mechanism consists of the following three aspects: the exchange rate decision; exchange rate of the relevant economic variables directly affect; exchange rate on macroeconomic and development indirectly. The relationship between these three constraints, coordination and common exchange rate mechanism described in existence. This paper describes two parts on the exchange rate mechanism, namely the exchange rate formation mechanism and the exchange rate mechanism. On the exchange rate formation mechanism, the paper supply from the most basic idea, along the evolution of exchange rate determination theory historical trajectory of the main theories to sort out and evaluate, and then combined with Markowitz's portfolio theory models and market microstructure proposed a general equilibrium model of exchange rate determination. In the exchange rate mechanism, the exchange rate on the impact of macroeconomic and development, through the exchange rate on trade, investment, monetary, foreign stocks and other assets and liabilities related to the role of economic variables indirectly achieve. These variables are exchange rate mechanism running bond and shaft, whereby the exchange rate mechanism of this article is divided into: the exchange rate - trade regime, the exchange rate - direct investment mechanism, the exchange rate - the stock system, the exchange rate - Indirect investment mechanism and exchange rates - - Money supply mechanism, namely to study and elaboration. ? Fifth, the positive and negative effects of international direct investment into five abstract form: improve efficiency of resource allocation caused by an increase in output, transaction cost savings, positive externalities, redistribution of benefits resulting from damage to the interests of the absolute and negative externalities . Sixth, the outflow of local currency into the base currency supply analytical categories, complementing the traditional \? Exchange rate movement is a very complex economic phenomena, the exchange rate mechanism is a very huge project.
