Abstract


With the development and improvement of people’s aesthetic taste, the gradual appreciation of the ceramic works gets out of the scope of the narrow space and the limitations of pure ceramic material itself, and focuses on the combination between ceramic art and cultural background, regional, environmental and so on. Ceramic art exhibition design can transmit the artist’s thoughts and intentions more completely and accurately through the platform of exhibition space. The show of ceramic works is different from other art works. Ceramic work is a work of art with its own characteristics, which is the art of creative thinking through author’s own. by adopting specific, intent, or abstract art form, selecting the appropriate materials, expanding the skills to implement, firing, and finally creating a kind of unique art form that has its own characteristics and unique artistic charm. No other art works can replace it. Ceramic art exhibition design can effectively solve the problem that single ceramic work brings people unitary and "weak" visual experience in their emotions, concepts and the whole atmosphere of visual arts. In the past decade, due to space and environmental factors playing an important role gradually in the graphic design, the display of ceramic art has no longer limited the work itself. To show off the adjacent objects next to the works and the surroundings can also be regarded as the extension of ceramic works. Even the concept that ceramic arts showed varies with the environment change.In this paper, ceramic work, an art form of ancient and fashion, is selected as a kind of display category. The space, color, lighting and exhibitions of ceramic art environment are demonstrated in details in order to highlight the different characteristics of ceramic art exhibition. At last the exhibition effects will be showed to achieve the purpose of beautifying the main arts and disseminate a wealth of topical information and artistic content to the audience.
