Abstract


In this study, college students were selected as research subjects.The Questionnaire of Moral Disengagement, Empathy Scale and Prosocial Behaviors Scale are used to explore characteristics and relationships among moral disengagement, empathy and prosocial behaviors of college students.The research results show that:(1)The questionnaire of Moral Disengagement includes four elements:moral iustification, advantageous comparison, attribution of blame and disengagement of responsibility.It has good reliability and validity.(2)The overall level of college students’moral disengagement is low.There are significant differences in gender,grade,major,family,functionary and non-functionary,only and non-only child of moral disengagement.(3)The overall level of college students’empathy is average. The score of empathic concern is the highest in the four elements.There are significant differences in gender, grade, functionary and non-functionary,only and non-only child of empathy.(4)The overall level of college students’prosocial behaviors is average. The score of Dire prosocial behaviors is the highest in the six elements. There are significant differences in gender,grade,major,family,functionary and non-functionary,only and non-only child of prosocial behaviors.(5)There is an obvious negative correlation between moral disengagement and prosocial behaviors.The moral disengagement plays an important role in the prediction of prosocial behaviors.(6)There is an obvious positive correlation between empathy and prosocial behaviors.The empathy plays an important role in the prediction of prosocial behaviors.(7)There is an obvious negative correlation between moral disengagement and empathy.The moral disengagement plays an important role in the prediction of empathy.(8)Empathy plays a role of complete mediation between moral disengagement and prosocial behaviors.
