Abstract


As a national policy, the importance of overall urban-rural development is naturalself-evident. Many researchers in different fields have focus on the study of urban-ruraldevelopment. Overall urban-rural development is about economic, political, cultural,education, and so on. Naturally, understanding of the relationship between overallurban-rural development and education is also very meaningful. Under the impact ofthe residual problems of the old urban-rural dual system, overall urban-ruraldevelopment has to face a lot of difficulties and challenges. And more contradictionsbetween urban and rural have affected the development of urban and rural. Long-termurban-rural dual system enlarged the differences between urban and rural areas, andbetween urban and rural areas in such aspects as politics, economy, culture differencesalso influence people’s growing awareness concept. Nowadays, people’s consciousnessformed under urban and rural dual system becoming the important factors hindering thedevelopment of the overall urban–rural development. As a whole, it fully reflects thedynamic role of consciousness. So, in addition in the aspect of policy system to promotethe overall urban-rural development, we also need to understand people’sconsciousness about today’s urban and rural. If people’s consciousness is notappropriate with policy system, it will have motile reaction to the implementation of thepolicy system. In this study, I selected the textbooks as analysis research material, inorder to reveal the current concept of urban and rural. For two reasons, firstly, for thevery nature of the textbooks, textbooks have such functions: the legalization of thesocial, political and economic; maintenance of ideology in society; activation andpreservation of the institution and culture; socialization of politics, and reflect themainstream values of society oriented features. Therefore, we can understand the socialmainstream ideologies through getting the awareness of textbooks, and whether itmaintain the ideologies formed under urban-rural dual system that conflicts with thenew policy regime ideologies. And shape of the urban and rural in the primary Chinesetextbook will guide students’ emotional. These will have an impact on theimplementation of the overall urban-rural development policies. Secondly, for the usersof textbooks, textbooks has a subtle influence on the formation of students’consciousness, so to reveal the concept of textbooks not only can reveal the mainstreamideology of today’s society, but also can reveal on a large part of the social mainstreamideology towards in the future. Therefore, understanding the appropriateness of textbooks under the overall urban-rural development is very necessary.The paper takes “urban and rural image” as the object of study, revealconsciousness and emotion guidance about urban and rural that contain in the primaryChinese textbooks of PEP through analysis urban and rural in it. First, using of literatureto sort out the existing study about overall urban–rural development and textbookanalysis, for understanding the ideas and methods of textbooks analysis, as well astextbooks’ appropriate under overall urban-rural development. Secondly, to sort outurban or rural background texts in the textbooks. Including scenery, flora and fauna,social life, story, the other, five categories. Understand the overview and problems oftexts about urban or rural in primary Chinese textbooks of PEP. Again, clear thestandard of appropriation of textbooks under overall urban-rural development.The full text of five sections: Introduction; the first part-analysis techniques andanalytical framework; the second part-appropriateness of the selected articles intextbooks; the third part-appropriate of ideologies of textbook; the forth part-Summary.Through statistical analysis, researcher found that selected articles in primaryChinese textbooks of PEP have unity and fiction problems, is not conducive to thestudents’ all-round and real understanding of urban and rural image. In the awareness, ithas deeply awareness which formed under the dual system in addition to improve thedegree of attention. And its emotion-oriented is urban bias. These are wholly notappropriate of the balance between urban and rural, overall urban-rural development,narrow the gap between urban and rural and achieve the goals and mission for commonmodern.
