The establishment of three-stage curriculum management system is an essential measure inthe elementary education curriculum reform in China because it empowers primary andsecondary schools rights to manage their curriculum. Curriculum planning is the mostcentralized embodiment of school curriculum management, however, with the deepening ofcurriculum reform, many problems and deficiencies were gradually exposed in school-levelcurriculum planning. But school curriculum programs, as the text product of school curriculumplanning, are simplified, weakened or even ignored in practical application, making the actualeffect of school curriculum planning severely impacted.In view of this, focusing on school curriculum planning, this study aims to design a set ofscientific, reasonable, and practical Evaluation Index System for School Curriculum Program asthe basis and reference for the planning and evaluation of curriculum program for primary andsecondary schools.Firstly, based on organization and analysis of related research literatures in recent years, theconnotation and characteristics of school curriculum planning and school curriculum programwere clarified,. Based on this, literature study, expert consulting method, questionnaire method,analytic hierarchy process (AHP), and attribute measure theory were adopted to build theevaluation index system of primary and secondary school curriculum program.This thesis mainly is divided into five parts:The first part,introduction. Mainly states the background, significance, research status,research idea and method. Among them, the research status mainly sorts and summarizes thepresent literature in curriculum planning, curriculum evaluation and curriculum program.The second part,the related theoretical basis for evaluation of school curriculum program.Based on extensive literature review, the connotation of the school curriculum planning, schoolcurriculum program, evaluation index system were defined, laying a solid theoretical foundationfor constructing the evaluation index system for School Curriculum Program.The third part, the related mathematical principles for evaluation of the school curriculumprogram. In order to help readers understand the process of constructing the evaluation indexsystem of school curriculum program, this part introduces the mathematical theory and specificcalculation method adopted in this research in detail.The fourth part, the construction of evaluation index system for the school curriculumprogram. This is the core part of this thesis, mainly covers the following works: drawing up theevaluation index, screening and revising evaluation index, calculating the weight for evaluationindex, and explanation of the evaluation indicators, etc.The fifth part, the application of evaluation index system of the school curriculum program.The feasibility and effectiveness of evaluation index system are verified by real schoolcurriculum program case, meanwhile several suggestions are put forward to improve theproposed evaluation index system.
