Abstract


The International Committee of the twenty-first Century education report--"Education--wealth contains" pointed out that the education must revolve aroundfour basic learning ability to redesign and reorganize: learn to know, learn to do, learnto live together, learn to development. The report also highlighted the"shift from skillto ability."From that we can see the modern education is not only to teach studentsnecessary scientific knowledge which they entering the society need, more importantis to cultivate the students’ ability to deal with interpersonal relationship, the ability tomanage and solve the contradiction, cooperation and communication ability, such ascomprehensive ability.It will be a development trend in the future education of china.But China is a multi-ethnic country, and the different ethnic has different culturalbackground, and the economic development in national regions is relativelybackward, and the people has not enough attention to the education, and the differ ofthe students’ individual learning interest、motivation、willpower, all of these willbring the influence of different level to the development of the students’mathematical ability. So it is a great event of related to improve the nationaleducation quality which how to improve the mathematics teaching quality of theborder areas and how to improve the students’ mathematical literacy with a higherlevel.This article is divided into four parts.The first part (Introduction) introduces theresearch background, significance, literature review and research methods, whichprovides a guideline to expand the paper investigation.The second part (the firstchapter) from the the concept and relationship of intelligence and ability, and themathematical ability of related theory, which lays a solid theoretical foundation forthis paper. The third part (the second chapter) introduces the organization andimplementation of the investigation, determining the research purpose and the object,on the basis of the preparation of test content, thus laying a foundation for furtherinvestigation. The fourth part (the third chapter) is the key part of the article.We findthat mathematical ability problem of students in Junior Middle School of Kashithrough a questionnaire for the students and teacher interviews, namely the computingcapacity of the students is strong, and the ability of observation, mathematicalmodeling capabilities, data analysis ability, space imagination ability is generally nothigh.The factors which affect the development of students’ mathematical ability fromthe family factors and learning motivation factors analysis show that family factors inparents’ level of education and aspirations for their children has a great influence intheir children’s mathematics learning; individual factors secondary school students motivation and interest in learning have a very significant impact on student learning.The fifth part (the fourth chapter) propose the kashgar middle way of cultivating theability of mathematics. First, we attache great importance to family education andimprove the students’ level of education. Second, we stimulate students learningmotivation and interest and arouse the enthusiasm of students learning and initiative.Third, we take the form of diversification, and improve teachers’ quality; Fourth, wecultivate the general mathematical ability including observation ability and self-studyability. Fifth, we cultivate the training of special mathematical ability includingoperation ability, space imagination ability, independent innovation ability,problem-solving ability and data analysis ability.
