Abstract


The new round course reformation is one of the relatively largest since the founding ofNew China, it takes constructivism theory as the theoretical guidance, to comprehensivelypromote quality education as the basic mission, is committed to the change in ways oflearning.Under the guidance of the new curriculum reform ideas, the history teaching shouldvalue the dominant position of students, consider students’ lives and interests as the startingpoint to cultivate students’ abilities to learn history: the students’ abilities of autonomouslearning and exploring, the abilities to use historical data, the abilities to analyze and solve thehistorical problem. To this end, in addition to using traditional lecture method in historyteaching, the teachers also actively explore new teaching methods, such as research learning,community service and social practice, labor and technology education. The “socialinvestigation” as a way of historical research study, has been taken seriously.Implementation of the "social investigation" in the history research study, certainguidelines should be followed: Stick to follow the students’ cognitive characteristics, adhereclose to the practice of students, raise the enthusiasm of students to participate in and so on.In the history research study, The teaching methods of the "social investigation" in useshould be included the identifying the topic, planning the subject, implementing the subjectprogram, finishing the concluding report.“Social investigation” in the specific application,the first to tell the students what is the “social investigation”, to teach students how to try touse the method, which is based on mastering the professional knowledge, methods, skills ofthe "social investigation", the students complete the project implementation plan, the teachershould in advance to make arrangements to guide arrange guide and example should beshown to illustrate. Based on somefirst grade, second grade students of one of high schoolusing “social investigation” in the history research study, the author studied theimplementation and found the “social investigation” can arouse the students’ interest inlearning history, significantly improve the students’ history thinking abilities.
