Abstract


Higher education have great significance to a country’s development,and,highereducation’s quality to a large extent influence the development of the national level,china’s higher education enrollment expansion in1999, by2009, our country hasrealized the popularization of higher education, modern. As a result, China’s highereducation system preliminary formation, completed the education the rise of power,human resources, power transformation is accelerating to human resource powers.Moreand more people are able to enjoy higher education, But it was found that, along withthe increase of the scale in higher education, fell on the quality of higher education,Yuan Gui Ren held on March22,2012,"comprehensively improve the quality ofhigher education working conference", points out that new campus, new buildings, newequipment is not equal to quality, these are the extensionality of, just the necessarycondition to improve the quality, the cultivation of the talent is to improve the quality oftop priority. University education quality to a large extent reflects its cultivation ofstudents, and This view also got more and more scholar’s attention and support, afterfour years of study, students will be how to improve and how much increase!For education quality evaluation in high schools, students’ engagement is animportant part of the assessment object, and it reflect the students’ learning and schooleducation.on the basis of other related study in theory, Kuhn thinks the student engagementrefers to the individual students’effective investment of time and energy in educationactivities, and students about the concept of school learning support to them, its essenceis the interaction of student behavior and school conditions,it namely shows that thelearning not only affected by the student’s own factors, but also affected by externalfactors such as school environment and atmosphere.The student engagement have a variety of methods into the measurement, amongthem, it’s the national survey on college students’ learning(NSSE).,of having thelargest influence and most recognized. As a third party to the identity, the investigationusing the “College Student Report” to investigate students of grade one and grede fourin the school.After officially introduced in America in2000, it became one of the most important tools to evaluate the education quality and diagnose the education quality,and it expand to other countries. in2007, Tsinghua university’s researchers worked withthe researchers in indiana university, completing NSSE questionnaire to localization,and it used to the survey of Chinese college students’ engagement. Through strictinvestigation and analysis, the researchers concluded, localization version CollegeStudent Report has the very high reliability and validity,and the results can surveycolleges and universities within the comparison of the different grade, professional, andthe compare between the different colleges and universities, in addition, thequestionnaire survey results can be compared with foreign colleges and universities.This research adopts the localization version of College Students Report, toinvestigate the local comprehensive university, H college students, and use the SPSSstatistical software to analyze the questionnaire, it concluded that H university’s studentengagement in the medium level. Among that Supportive Campus Environment scoredhigher, but lower scores on Student-Faculty Interaction. Schools have lower scores inthe curriculum goal reached degree, students is not set up the lofty mission in thelearning motivation, schools for students learning and interpersonal support degree ishigher, the students attitude towards school is satisfied. High and low grade students tolearn in H university no significant sexual difference on.the Five comparableindicators.Compare with Ball state university of the United States, H universityEnriching Educational Experiences score higher than that of Ball state university, and tLevel of Academic Challenge below the Ball state university, grade differences in otherindexes.
