Abstract


Broadcasting and hosting major works at cultivating professional TV show host and professional announcer. Television announcers and hosts are aimed at making better use of radio and television transmission function, improving the communication efficiency and enhancing communication effect. Physical training courses in broadcasting and hosting major is different from such courses in performing arts major or dancing arts major. Therefore, It is aimed at improving the students’ aesthetic taste of body art, and its fundamental purpose is to enhance the students’ body language feeling, expression, creation and application ability. It will enable students to form good manners and behaviors, so that the students can express their emotion vividly and disseminate information accurately, thereby the goal of optimizing communication effect will be realized. And in another aspect, Physical training courses in broadcasting and hosting major also bear the task of enhancing students’physical qualities and prolonging their career lives.By performing experiments, questionnaire investigation and statistical methods, this paper made a practical research about the students’ body shape, physical fitness and the cognitive abilities of broadcasting major.In view of the problems in Physical training courses in broadcasting and hosting major, this paper also put forward some reforming plans about how to make clear of the course objective, course characteristics and teaching tasks.According to recent studies, there are several problems exist in the below:1. The teaching resources can not meet the needs of students in broadcasting and hosting major. And a single teaching team can not teach the students knowledge in physical training comprehensively.2. The old physical training methods do have positive effects to students, but they cannot stimulate students’study passion.3. The unreasonable course arrangement lead the students can not put the knowledge into practice and lack of good consciousness of physique. It also makes the students cannot improve their strength, flexibility and coordination. When they participate in extracurricular activities and various party, they are not daring to show themselves.In view of the three research conclusion above, this paper put forward the reform plans:1.Teachers should strengthen their comprehensive abilities. They must be skilled at physical training and, meanwhile, they must be good at broadcasting.2. Reforming teaching contents and methods according to students’physical condition and the features in broadcasting and hosting major. Adding new dancing forms, teachers should transmit their focus from body shaping to cultivating students’ physical posture and physical expressing ability.3. Strengthening students’ physical consciousness and aesthetic conceptions, cultivating students’ lifelong physical exercise habit.
