With the wide application of information technology, it has a long history that thebanking carries out the business processing work by the information system. But in theaspect of equipment management, the informationization level is not high, especially inall regional branches of the commercial Banks, restricted by different factors such asdevice type, number, makes the bank doesn’t has a fully functional auxiliary equipmentmanagement software that assists the asset management work of the bank. Based on theactual status of the Agricultural Bank WenZhou OuHai branch, the author discusses theapplication of information technology in the equipment management business.This dissertation fully discusses the design and implementation process of the bankequipment management system, the author proposed the development of the systemshould base on the J2EE framework, combines the technology of JSP, Tomcat, SQLServer, realizes the equipment management system. Firstly, the dissertation introducesthe research status, and the related development technologies are reviewed; then thebusiness process of the system, function and performance requirements are analyzedin-depth, based on this, the author puts forward the multi-layer architecture, and designseach function module and database of the system, and the security mechanism of thesystem is discussed; Finally, the dissertation introduces the implementation and testingprocess of the main function modules, the plan of the function and performance test andthe program flow of the function implementation are given. The bank equipmentmanagement system is discussed in the dissertation mainly includes the followingfunction moudles: user management, equipment basic information management,equipment maintenance management, equipment management, query statistics, and etc.Among them, equipment basic information management includes warehousingregistration and basic information maintenance; Equipment maintenance and faultmanagement, it provides the fast channel for the timely repairing and handling to theequipment failure.At present, the bank equipment management system has been running in theagricultural bank WenZhou OuHai subbranch, each function and performance index isstable. Practice has proved that the use of the system, which can effectively improve thelevel and efficiency of the bank equipment management, thus indirectly to enhance the competitiveness of the bank.
