Entering the21st century, computer technology has been maintaining a robust development momentum, it also led to the development and the automation trend of related industries as well as it. At present, with the overall opening of the Chinese oil market, the retail petroleum stations is facing fierce competition. However, limited to a variety of factors, the degree of information varies differently in different gas station. What’s more, there exist some other shortages, for instance, insufficient levels of management, inefficiency, low degree of automation and so on. In order to raise the market competitiveness of gas stations, increase economic efficiency, modern administrative approaches and advanced information technology has become an important breakthrough in modern gas station.In this paper, according to the actual requirements of the gas station, we designed and implemented an integrated data acquisition instrument hardware platform, which is used for collecting data of oil machine and liquid level meter. Its hardware platform is built by using S3C2440A microprocessor as the core. And on this basis, there are the serial port, Ethernet, download interface and other peripherals. Meanwhile, compared with the existing similar gas station equipment, this paper design the collection device also has the following features:ZigBee wireless network:in line with requirements under the premise of electromagnetic radiation, gas stations, using ZigBee technology platform designed for its wireless communication network which can connect Liquid level meter and collection device wirelessly, to solve the communication problem through walls due to equipment not in the same room, and avoid the direct laid open wire’s influence on the environment.Multi-protocol conversion interface:we designed a multi-protocol conversion interface which can support five kinds of oil machine interface data transfer protocol:RS-232, RS485, RS422, CL2and CL3. It encompasses the vast majority of the market tanker, greatly improving the compatibility of the platform to adapt to different types of oil machine.The design of a new BootLoader:Starting from the gas station actual demand, we design the new BootLoader and named as I-Boot which can support WinCE, Linux system load, and the choice of which way to download and some parameters configuration.In brief, the integrated data acquisition instrument hardware platform is designed to achieve automation station information acquisition and processing, save time and administrative costs, and raise the comprehensive competition strength of itself, for the long-term development of gas station.
