Abstract


Today is an era of information explosion and a variety of information like the plaguearound us which made us hide nowhere. So it’s a very important issue that how we choose,identify, use when facing the overwhelming information. In the meantime, it will involve theissue of the masses "media literacy". Media literacy is not itself with a kind of ability andquality, as a method of processing information and skills. In western developed countries,media literacy education has been deep into the school of classroom teaching, from a studentto raise the level of the nation’s media literacy. For media literacy in Chinese academic circlein recent years, research has made great development; especially for schoolchildren medialiteracy education has been given a high degree of attention. But it ignores the veryimportant link in the media literacy education, which is family. Everyone is inseparable fromthe family; family education is the first link of primary and middle school students to obtainknowledge. So in media literacy education, how the family plays a role, the role of parents inthe education for primary and middle school students of the influence of the media literacylevel is crucial. Parents in the family media literacy training primary and middle schoolstudents, teach them basic knowledge of the media, let them grow up healthily in the flow ofinformation, and it has strong practical significance. At present domestic media literacyeducation in the study of media literacy education there is a big gap, there are also manyproblems. Such as, parents don’t know what is media literacy and media literacy education.Also can’t use in medium, the medium information on screening and criticism of the mediato give children the corresponding guidance. So parents’ media literacy levels can directeffects on children. Family media literacy education development path and the specificoperation should be planned, purposeful, and should be according to the actual situation ofeach family, the family media literacy education content to make corresponding adjustment.In the domestic media literacy education to ensure that the family plays a role of "starting".
