Abstract


The thesis takes UL Company current strategic choice as the research background,maps out appropriate strategy and provides solution accordingly for the third partytesting companies through system analysis of food safety testing business in Chinacurrent market environment.In this thesis, using a variety of tools of strategic analysis and strategicmanagement theories to analyze the internal and external environment of the enterprise,developing UL company level strategy and business competitive strategy throughSWOT matrix model, and giving specific feasible measures according to the actualsituation.The logic structure is as follows: firstly introduces the analysis of domestic andinternational competition strategy theories, tools of strategic analysis as the basis; andthen through the PEST model and the Potter five forces model to analyze the externalenvironment of UL company in China in the field of food safety testing, explains theenterprise of the existing opportunities and threats in food safety testing industryreaction using the EFE matrix; then analysis of UL factors in financial, organizationalstructure, testing and engineering ability, service, human resources, enterprise culture,illustrates the advantages and disadvantages of the enterprise in the industry of foodsafety testing by using the EFE matrix; then develops UL company level strategy andbusiness competition strategy using SWOT matrix model together with QSPM matrix;finally, comes out suggestions on the implementation of the strategy of UL company,and provides reference for the third party testing institutions.
