Abstract


With China’s rapid economic growth, the demand for energy is increasingenergy supply and demand gap is also growing, which requires us to expand thescale of the energy trade. While accompanied by economic growth, China’senvironmental problems have also caused great damage, the contradiction betweenthe environment and the economy is gradually appearing, so the study ofsustainable economic growth become a rich theoretical and practical significance.This article devides energy trade carbon emissions into energy exports effectand energy imports effect. The energy exports effect can further be broken downinto the indirect effects of the impact on carbon emissions through economicgrowth, intermediate variables, another direct effect of the change of the energyscale of mining on carbon emissions is caused by energy exports. The two effectsalgebra and determine the direction and size of the total effect of the carbonemissions of our energy exports. Positive effects, as well as the effect of energyimports through the influence of the size of the related industries on carbonemissions produced by changing the structure of energy consumption and thuscarbon emissions generated negative effects. Similarly, energy imports effectjointly are decided by the above two effects. To sum up, China’s energy tradecarbon emissions to energy exports effect and energy imports effect explanation.The empirical research by constructing simultaneous equations will testChina’s energy exports, energy imports effects on carbon emissions, and whatimpact testing. The results show that: China’s energy exports will reduce carbonemissions, China’s energy imports will increase carbon emissions.
