Abstract


In recent years, with the gradually opening up of the world economy, Inefficientindustrial investment, irrational industrial structure and other issues has been an importantfactor of affecting regional economic growth, thereby increasing the efficiency ofinvestment and optimizing industrial structure are even more important. Since reform andopening, the economy of Hebei has maintained a rapid development by increasinginvestment, and ultimately formed a relatively complete national economic system today.But in this process, Hebei industrial investment and industrial restructuring also exposedsome problems.Standing on the level of industrial structure and using statistics, industrial economics,econometrics, investments economics, this paper studies Hebei industrial investmentefficiency and structure optimization systematically. Firstly, understanding andsummarizing domestic and foreign literature, this paper defines the related theories andconcepts. Secondly, this paper analyses the current situations of Hebei industrialinvestment and development of industrial structure, and use fixed-asset investment effectsmodels and marginal capital-output ratio (ICOR) to study the efficiency of investmentindustry. Thirdly, using error correction model (ECM), this paper studies three industriesinvestment efficiency, industrial investment efficiency, the efficiency of the allocationbetween the three industries and the second and third industry investment efficiencywithin the industry, thus discovering problems in Hebei industrial investment efficiencyand industrial structure based on the perspective of industrial investment structure.Fourthly, using the least square method and the panel data model, this paper analyses themacro investment efficiency and industrial investment efficiency from the source ofinvestment structure and the investor structure respectively, and find out the problems.Finally, in order to solve those problems, this paper proposes the countermeasures andsuggestions to increase the efficiency of industrial investment and optimize the industrialstructure from multiple angles.
