Abstract


The "logistics finance",as a new type of financing, has been got more and more attention in our country. But only few logistics companies which are state-owned and have large scale had touched the field of "logistics finance" because of the late start of its development. This type of financing means that the logistics companies participate the whole process of financing and provide the regulatory and guarantee to movable property, breaking the traditional model of financing which pledging the immovable property. The borrowers, logistics companies and the banks will all get benefits. To the logistics companies, there will be facing a lot of troubles and potential risks when providing the service of logistics finance.The paper explains the concept and the feature of the "logistics finance" in detail, analyzes several main kinds of financing activities,and introduces the characteristics of these financings and the potential risk the logistics companies will faced. In addition, the paper analyzes some main risks that logistics companies generally face with:risk of management, supervision, credit, pledge material, contract, law, environment and so on. On the basis, the article builds a higher reliability index system of risk evaluation, and builds the risk evaluation model using the methods of Analytic Hierarchy Process and Fuzzy Matter Element Analysis to evaluate the risks of a specific case. Finally, some suggestions based on the evaluation results are given.The paper emphasizes on analyzing all kinds of potential risks the logistics companies could face under the mode of "logistics finance", building a higher reliability index system of risk evaluation, and giving some measures to avoid and overcome these potential risks. Maybe, this article can give some inspiration on risk response to logistics companies when they take part in the practice of "logistics finance".
